French opera singer and producer David Serero makes it to the United States Honorees”40 Under 40″ by the Business Elie Awards to salute his Cultural Entrepreneurship

“40 Under 40” Celebrates the Success of North America’s Forty Most Successful and
Ambitious Young Business Leaders in 2022. The Business Elite Awards recognize the talent of the most successful business leaders worldwide and organize a “40 Under 40” Gala Dinner at one of the most luxurious and prestigious hotels, the St. Regis Hotel, in New York.

“We are glad to welcome a very diverse group of executives and entrepreneurs, ranging from top-level managers in the finance, IT, medical, entertainment, management, and many more sectors to entrepreneurs whose innovations contribute to better economic growth in our communities. I want to thank everyone who submitted a nomination this year, and a special thanks to the members of the Advisory Board, who evaluated hundreds of nominations and invested their time and energy in facilitating a complex process of choosing the top 40 candidates for this prestigious recognition.” Business Elite Awards’ Director, Viktor Gjorgjieski, Ph.D

David Serero added, “It’s an honor winning the prestigious Business Elite’s 40 under 40 award and being recognized among some of the most successful and ambitious young business leaders in North America. It’s so nice to see the business community recognizing cultural entrepreneurship. I’ve been dedicating all my life, health, and savings, to my productions, including my Bar Mitzvah’s money! I moved to New York without a penny and without knowing anyone. I made myself a signature with my economic model to make shows successful for the audience’s satisfaction while creating paid opportunities for hundreds of performers. Such an award makes me want to create more human adventures!”

David Serero has been called “the first self-made millionaire producer in the opera world” for starting his company from scratch and varying his repertoire to theater plays and musicals, adding new entrepreneurship to this cultural sector. “I should even be called the “twice selfmade” since, in 2014, my ex-best friend robbed me of all my money and savings, and I had to start from zero again, yet I made it again. Work is my best therapy!” It’s the first time that the Business Elite Awards honor a cultural entrepreneur from the opera and theatrical world.

Recently, David Serero completed a successful run of The Ten Commandments, The Musical, Off-Broadway, and is now directing and producing several documentaries following the worldwide success of his film on fashion designer Elie Tahari (winning dozens of awards and nearly 100 film festival selections). He is also touring across Europe to produce Road Trip Film before starting a concert tour which will take him to Brazil, Argentina, South Africa, and more.
